Two private companies have been contracted to build Islamic Centers in Kulhudhuffushi City, N. Hoarafushi, and H.A. Utheemu.
Wave Length Private Limited has been awarded the contract for the Kulhudhuffushi Islamic Center, while Venza Company Private Limited will handle the construction of the Islamic Centers in N. Hoarafushi and H.A. Utheemu.
A special ceremony was held today to sign agreements with private contractors for these development projects that will be carried out under the contractor finance method. President Dr. Mohamed Muizzu and Minister of Islamic Affairs Dr. Mohamed Shaheem Ali Saeed participated in this ceremony. Cabinet ministers and Members of Parliament were also in attendance.
Under these agreements, the Islamic Centers to be built in these three islands will include prayer halls as well as modern classrooms, Islamic libraries, conference halls, and office spaces.
These projects, costing 30 million Rufiyaa, are being implemented as part of President Dr. Mohamed Muizzu’s presidential pledges.
