Ooredoo Maldives to distribute MVR 3.27 per share as the dividend

Ooredoo Maldives has decided to distribute MVR 3.27 per share as the dividend for the year 2023, in its Annual General Meeting (AGM). 

Ooredoo Maldives held its Annual General Meeting (AGM) on March 7, 2024.

The AGM was attended by 132 Shareholders, with 72 Shareholders being present in person and another 60 Shareholders being present by proxy. 

The distribution of MVR 3.27 per share was approved by 82.7% vote of the shareholders. A total of MVR 484 million will be distributed to shareholders as dividend.

At the Annual General Meeting held by Ooredoo last year, shareholders approved MVR 3.04 per share as the dividend for the year 2022.

In addition, Mohamed Shahid elected to the board with 1,053 votes in a vote among the shareholders by competing Fareeha Shareef at the AGM.
