Waste Collection Services fees from households of HDh. Hanimaadhoo to be waived in Ramadan

HDh. Hanimaadhoo Council has decided not to take waste collection service fees from households during the upcoming Ramadan.

In Council’s 130th general meeting, it was decided to reduce the existing waste collection services charges from MVR 150 per household per month to MVR 100 from April onwards.

Moreover, During the meeting, the council also decided not to charge fees for waste collection service from pre-school in Hanimaadhoo. Currently, there is only one preschool operating in Hanimaadhoo. It is the Sa’aadhaa Preschool run by Hanimaadhoo Zuvaanunge Jamiyya.

In addition, at the 127th General Meeting of the Council, it was approved that waste collection services fee would be charged from hanimaadhoo households during the upcoming Ramadan. Last year, the council waived off the waste collection services fees charged from Hanimaadhoo households during Ramadan.
