‘Alimas Reading Park’, developed at Sh. Milandhoo School has been officially opened.
The park, which was developed by Milandhoo Sports Club under the assistance from BML Community Fund, was completed and opened on Wednesday and many people have worked together financially and physically to make the park a full-fledged place.
In this regard, the Milandhoo Women’s Development Committee (WDC) has provided substantial financial support for the development of the park. Moreover, members of Milandhoo Sports Club, members of RDC’s Milandhoo site, Fenaka employees, employees of Milandhoo School and students participated in the construction of the park.
Speaking about the park, Principal of Milandhoo School Ibrahim Adhil stated that the reading park opened at the school will benefit the learning of the students and the school aims to further develop the park in a phased manner.
Currently, the park has been developed with benches with shades which make it easier to sit and read books. A pond has also been developed around the shed to enhance the charm of the place.
In addition, Adhil thanked all those who have directly or indirectly contributed to this work.
