Haa Alifu Atoll Council has announced that they are looking for interested parties to conduct a diving course.

The course is a PADI certified diving course to be conducted by the council for the youth working in the tourism and fishing sectors of the atoll.

According to Ha. Atoll Council, only citizens of the atoll will be allowed to take part in the course. The participants will be charged MVR 500 as deposit before the start of the course and the amount will be returned to the participants on completion of the course.

Therefore, Ha. Atoll Council requests those interested in participating in the course to complete and submit their application form to Island Council of the applicant, before 12:00hrs of February 7.

Moreover, as the course is targeted at fisheries and tourism workers in the atoll, they will have to submit a document along with the application form confirming that they work in those industries.

The course is scheduled to be conducted between February 15 and March 6. Those interested in conducting the course are requested to mail to council before 12:00hrs of February 8.

In addition, the council has decided to give priority to those who are operating diving centres in the atoll.
