Fire Birds have won the ‘Balma Futsal Challenge 23/24’, organized by ‘Balma Maldives’ a company runs in Sh. Feevah.
The Fire Birds won the title with a 3-0 win over defending champions Hooligan SC in the final played at the island’s Football ground on January 1. Hussain Shareef was selected as the best player of the final match.
Hotshot’s Abdul Fat’thah was selected as the most promising player of the tournament. Hotshot’s Ahmed Affan Shareef was selected as the fair play player of the tournament. Hakuru FC was selected as the fair play team for the tournament, while Muaviat Waseem, the coach of Fire Birds was selected as the best coach. Abdulla Naveen of Fire Birds was the top scorer of the tournament.
Top five players of the tournament are: Abdulla Naveen – FC Fire Birds, Abdulla Rimah – FC Fire Birds, Hussain Shareef – FC Fire Birds, Hussain Shamih – Hooligan SC, and Hussain Farish – Hooligan SC.

Moreover, Hussain Shamih of Hooligan SC was selected as the ‘Feevah Futsal King’ and Hussain Shareef of FC Fire Birds was selected as the best player of the tournament.
The winning team was awarded with MVR 10,000, the runners-up was awarded with MVR 5,000 and the fair play team was awarded with MVR 2,000.
A total of five teams participated in this year’s tournament. The teams are defending champions Hooligan SC, Hakuru FC, Thinbathere FC, Fire Birds and Hot Shot.
