Ha. Filladhoo Council has opened the opportunity for leasing of 226.13 Hectares of Land with sea, for the Development and Operation of the Tourism / Civil Aviation or Bunkering in Dhapparu Area in Ha. Filladhoo.
The Area of land shall be leased for a period of 50 (Fifty) years and the Land shall be granted a maximum construction period of 36 (Thirty Six) months from the date of signing on the lease agreement.
According to Filladhoo Council, the bidder is required to propose an amount of not less than USD 1,000,000 (One Million US Dollars) which shall be paid to the Council as the lease acquisition cost of the Land. And the bidder is required to submit a bank guarantee as a bid security amounting to MVR 500,000 (Five Hundred Thousand Maldivian Rufiyaa), issued by a reputable financial institution approved by MMA or the relevant financial regulatory authority in the country of issuance.
Moreover, those interested in bidding are requested to submit completed Bid Documents purchase application form between 09:00hrs to 13:00hrs, before January 11. The price of the Bidding Documents is MVR 5,000 which is non-refundable. And those who require further information regarding the bidding are requested to contact Secretariat of the Filladhoo Council (Contact No.: +960 6500023, Email: [email protected]) between 09:00hrs to 13:00hrs, before January 11.
Furthermore, bids can be submitted only if interested parties have a Companies and Partnerships registered under the Act of 2014/18 At Ministry of Economic Development or Sole proprietorship’s registered under the Act of 2014/19 At Ministry of Economic Development or Foreign Investments registered under the Act of 25/79 At Ministry of Economic Development.
In addition, council stated that sealed bids must be submitted before 10:00 hrs on Thursday, 25th January 2024 to the Office of council or any other venue that the Council may announce. Bids will be opened in the presence of bidders or their representatives who choose to attend the event at 10:05 hrs of the same day.
