Ruhgandu FC has won the Futsal Tournament of ‘B14 Sports Festival 2023’ organized by HDh. Neykurendhoo Council.
In the final match played at Neykurendhoo Futsal Ground on December 26, Ruhgandu FC played against Club Civic faced each other. Ruhgandu FC won the final 3-2 to clinch the title. Akram Abdul Rasheed of Ruhgandu FC was selected as the best player of the final match.
The top 5 players of the Tournament are: Ahmed Bassam – Ruhgandu FC, Mohamed Saad Nizar – Ruhgandu FC, Ahnaf Rasheed – Club Civic, Hussain Shareef – Club Civic and Abdulla Yameen of Club Senon.
Moreover, two players were the top scorers of the tournament with the most number of goals scored. They are Abdulla Yameen of Senon and Ahnaf Rasheed of Civic.
Mohamed Raaee Fazeel of Club Civic was selected as the most promising player of the tournament while Harmanos FC was selected as the fair play team. Ahmed Bassam Mohamed of Ruhgandu FC was selected as the Player of the Tournament (King of the Tournament).
The Sports Festival which began on December 22 this year, consists of two sports. They are Futsal and Volleyball.A total of four teams participated in the Futsal Tournament of the Sports Festival. They are: Club Senon, Club Civic, Ruhgandu FC, and Harmanos FC. And a total of three teams participated in the Volleyball Tournament of the Sports Festival. They are: Vaika. Volley Team, De Squad, and Kum. Sports Club.
