Annual Fun Run Weekend of Ooredoo Maldives is set to begin today.
Ooredoo stated that the first drone race in the Maldives, the biggest and most exciting 5K run, as well as the Ooredoo music show featuring popular artists of the Maldives, will be held during today’s Fun Run Weekend.
The drone race is scheduled to be held from 08:00hrs to 11:00 . Since this is the drone race final, it will feature pilots from two categories — Sky Elite (FPV Drone) pilots and Sky Walker (DJI non-FPV drones). The sky walker and sky elite categories of drone race 2023 will compete and will be given special prizes for the first, runners-up, and second runner-up.
Ooredoo Fun Run will be held from 15:30hrs to 18:00hrs . Ooredoo Fun Run – The Happiest Run in the Maldives is a fun-filled 5K run designed to be enjoyed by families and friends of all ages. As an untimed and fun-filled 5K, the event welcomes both new and experienced runners to join in the excitement. Each kilometre covered will be celebrated with a unique fun station with colours, water and fun obstacles.
As the run is not a timed event, participants can choose to walk, jog, run or dance to the finish line, where their efforts will be celebrated in style with a foam party, finisher medals and a music show.
Ooredoo Music Festival is scheduled to be held from 20:00hrs to 00:00 at Hulhumale’ Central Park. Ooredoo stated the show will feature popular artists, including performances by Habeys Boduberu, DTune, Meera, Shambe, Inma, DJ Dheedh, Zakitte and Traffic Jam.
