The ‘Balma Futsal Challenge 23/24’, organized by ‘Balma Maldives’ a company runs in Sh. Feevah is set to begin on December 25.
A total of five teams participated in this year’s tournament. The teams are defending champions Hooligan SC, Hakuru FC, Thinbathere FC, Fire Birds and Hot Shot.
Aimed at reviving the spirit of friendship, unity and sportsmanship among the Feevah youth, the tournament will feature renowned players from all over the country. This year’s tournament will feature the Futsal King of the latest Golden Futsal Challenge, Hussain Shareef. And several rising stars from Shaviyani Atoll will feature in the tournament.
The winning team will be awarded with MVR 10,000, the runners-up will be awarded with MVR 5,000 and the fair play team will be awarded with MVR 2,000.
The main sponsor of the tournament is Balma Maldives Private Limited Company. The co-sponsor of the tournament is Feevah Food Factory ‘Crunchies’. In addition, feevah.mv is the media partner for the tournament. All the matches of the tournament will be live streamed on feevah.mv’s Facebook Page.
Balma, which runs the tournament, has been providing generous donations for sports activities, educational and social issues in the island.
