Kulhudhuffushi City Mayor Mohamed Athif has stated that president Dr. Mohamed Muizzu will have full support in any effort for the welfare of the people of Kulhudhuffushi City.
In a Facebook post today congratulating President Dr. Muizzu and Vice President Hussain Mohamed, Athif stated that he hopes that under Dr. Muizzu, development and prosperity will be brought to the Maldives and Kulhudhuffushi City.
Athif further stated that it is his wish that the infrastructure projects initiated by the previous government in Kulhudhuffushi should be carried out at a fast pace without stopping and that the work of fulfilling the promises made by Dr. Muizzu should kick off as early as possible.
In order to solve the housing issue in Kulhudhuffushi City, the previous government has started the construction of five 11-storey towers. In addition, the city’s road is being upgraded to a modern level by laying asphalt on the roads. However, these projects haven’t been completed yet while government transitioned.
