Moosa further stated that they have held discussions with the teams that usually participate in the tournament from the island and seven teams from the island are expected to take part in the tournament as they want to go ahead with ten teams and they have decided to allow teams from outside the island to increase that status of the tournament. He also stated that they will finalize the islands to be invited soon.
Moreover, Hanimaadhoo Zuvaanunge Jamiyya request those teams interested in participating in the tournament to complete online application before November 20, 2023. The tournament is scheduled to December 15 at Hanimaadhoo Football Ground.

The first island-level football tournament by Hanimaadhoo Zuvaanunge Jamiyya was held in the island back in December 1999, and it was called Saas Cup. And for the last 10 tournaments held by the organization from 2002 to 2021 were held as Adam Saleem Cup. However, as this year marks the 30th anniversary of the organization, the name of the tournament has been changed to make the tournament special for it.
