The Inter-School Junior Football Fiesta 2023, organized jointly by Maattey Sports Academy and Hirafus Sports Club has concluded successfully.
The two-day fiesta was held at Kulhudhuffushi Futsal Arena on September 15 and 16 and was participated by three schools of Kulhudhuffushi City. They are Afeefuddin School, Jalaluddin School and 2 teams from key stage 1and 2 of Haa Dhaalu Atoll Education Center (AEC)
The final matches of the fiesta were played on September 16. The final of Key Stage 1 was played between AEC A team and Afeefuddin School A team. The AEC A team won the match 1-0 to clinch the Key Stage 1 title.
In the key stage 2 final, Jalaluddin School A team and Afeefuddin School A team met. Afeefuddin School A team won the key stage 2 title with a 3-1 win.
After the final match was over, the closing ceremony of the fiesta was held. At the closing ceremony, medals were handed over to all the students who participated in the Fiesta. The winning teams were given trophies. And all those who contributed in various ways were also appreciated for their contribution.
