A captivating historical documentary delving into one of the most monumental events in Maldivian history, ‘Bodu Dhathuru’ to be released tomorrow by ‘Thiladhun’ Media.
The documentary, which lasts for nearly an hour, will be aired on Thiladhun’s social media platforms at 1300hrs on Thursday. It will be aired on Thiladhun Online’s Facebook page and YouTube channel.
The documentary focused on the trip led by Kulhudhuffushi Bodu Mohamed Katheeb along with several citizens from Thiladhunmathi 80 years ago, will become the documentary with most detailed information ever made on the incident.
The documentary describes in great detail how the journey began, the purpose, preparations, government actions, and what happened after the journey. And a lot of information about the history of the Bodu Thiladhunmathi and the political situation of the country at the time.

Thiladhun is the associate producer and media partner of the documentary ‘Bodu Dhathuru’. It was researched, written, and directed by Ahmed Salim and Hussain Zabeer, who have studied and researched history of Thiladhunmathi.
