Ministry of National Planning, Housing and Infrastructure has awarded Ha. Ihavandhoo Fish Collection Center Harbour project awarded to Maldives Transport and Contracting Company (MTCC).
At a ceremony held at the Planning Ministry, the agreement was signed by Director General of the Ministry Fathimath Shaana Farooq and COO of MTCC Shahid Hussain Moosa signed on behalf of company.
Under the project MTCC have to carry out 47,161 cubic meter harbour basin dredging operations (5.5m MSL), 3,060 cubic meter harbor basin dredging operations (3.5m MSL), 42 meter revetment, 129 meter sheet pile quay wall, 66 meter L block quay wall, bollards, v fenders, harbor lights and 3,437 square meter pavement.
The MVR 60.26 million project was awarded to the company to be completed in 500 days.
MTCC has been undertaking many development projects throughout the country including building roads, airports, land reclamation, shore protection, and harbours.
