To mark the 14th anniversary of the Maldives Red Crescent and World Humanitarian Day, a Humanitarians Festival is schedule to be held at Kulhudhuffushi City today evening.
According to the Maldives Red Crescent Kulhudhuffushi Office, the event will be held from 16:15hrs to 18:00hrs at Kulhudhuffushi Stadium.
This year’s Humanitarian Festival will also have a number of stalls, which will feature activities for children and other age groups. Moreover, this year also various stalls by Red Crescent and stalls from various institutions in Kulhudhuffushi will participate in the festival. Kulhudhuffushi City Council, Atoll Education Center, Afeefuddin School, Jalaluddin School, Kulhudhuffushi Customs, Young Leaders Kulhudhuffushi Branch, Kulhudhuffushi Regional Hospital and Kulhudhuffushi City Police are also part of the festival.
Furthermore, according to the Red Crescent, the Humanitarian Festival will have a lot of activities for children, information on career guidance and a canteen where food will be available.
Since last year, the Red Crescent has been organizing a family evening called the Humanitarian Festival to mark World Humanitarian Day.
