Team Flamingo champions of USC Womens Handball Tournament 2023 held at Ha. Utheemu

Team Flamingo has won the USC Womens Handball Tournament 2023 organized by Uthuru Sports Club (USC) held at Ha. Utheemu.

Total five teams participated in Handball Tournament held from July 5 to 11, 2023. Teams participated in the tournament include: Pearl, Demand, First Wave, Flamingo, and Blue Squad. Team Flamingo won the final match against First Wave 3-2.

After the final match the closing ceremony of the tournament was held. Mariyam Sizleena from Team Flamingo was selected as the top scorer of the tournament, Mariyam Shahaa from Pearl was selected as the Queen of the tournament, and she was also selected as the most promising player of the tournament.

Uthuru Sports Club have been actively involved in social and urban development activities of the Island.
