Opportunity open to participate in Ha. Dhidhdhoo Council Cup Football Tournament

Ha. Dhidhdhoo Council has open applications to participate in the Dhidhdhoo Cup 6th Football Tournament.

According to Council, Clubs/Organizations based in Dhidhdhoo, registered with the Ministry of Youth and Sports Empowerment, will be allowed to participate in the tournament.

The objectives of the tournament are to strengthen the unity among Clubs/Organizations of Dhidhdhoo, to enhance the football skills of the youth of Dhidhdhoo and unity among youth, and to provide opportunity for youngsters to play football in a competitive environment.

Dhidhdhoo Council has urged those who wish to participate in the competition to complete the application form before 1300hrs of July 5, and to submit player’s registration forms before 1300hrs of July 11.

The tournament is scheduled to begin on July 20. The winning team will be awarded with a cash prize of MVR 50,000 and the runners-up a cash prize of MVR 10,000.
