Site mobilized to commence HDh. Kurinbi Harbour Development Project

Maldives Transport and Contracting Company (MTCC) has stated that they have mobilized site to commence HDh. Kurinbi Harbour Development.

Under the project to develop Kurinbi Harbour MTCC has to dredge 34561 cubic meter new harbour basin, channel dredging operations of 2040 cubic meter, reprofiling and rectification of 69 meter existing breakwater, construction of a new 295 meter breakwater, a 70 meter revetment, and a 314 meter quay wall. In addition, installation of mooring buoys, installation of harbour lights, installation of street lights, paving of 1561.61 square meter harbour pavement, construction of a ramp and access platform.

The MVR 40.56 million project was awarded to the company by Ministry of National Planning, Housing, and Infrastructure to be completed within 365 days.

MTCC has been undertaking many development projects throughout the country including building roads, airports, land reclamation, shore protection, and harbours.
