Draw ceremony held for Ha. Dhidhdhoo Inter-Office Futsal Tournament 2023 organized by Middle Sports Club and Dhidhdhoo Youth Center.
The objectives of the tournament are to inculcate the spirit of sportsmanship and maintain unity among the employees of government offices and companies in Dhidhdhoo.
The draw ceremony was held at Dhidhdhoo City Q Restaurant. According to organizers six teams participated in the tournament. The teams are Dhidhdhoo Council, Road Recreation Club, Dhidhdhoo Police Club, Haa Atoll Hospital, Fenaka and Thilla Uthuru Recreation Club.
This year’s tournament will be played at Dhidhdhoo Turf Football Ground. The tournament is scheduled to begin on May 25. First match will be played between Dhidhdhoo Council and Dhidhdhoo Police Club at 1600hrs. Moreover, before starting this year’s tournament, a charity match between the defending champion Fenaka and runner-up United BML on May 24, 2023.
The tournament is being conducted in such a way that the six participating teams are divided into two groups and the top two teams from each group qualify for the semi-finals. After that, the winners of the semi-final will qualify for the final. The final match is scheduled to be played on May 30.
