Ha. Filladhoo Council has decided to lease land plots from island’s harbour area for industrial and warehousing purposes.
According to the announcement by the island council, 18 plots measuring 10,000 square feet will be leased temporary for a period of five years. And these land plots can be only used for warehousing, garage, and for workshops.
Therefore, interested parties are requested to submit their proposal before 1300hrs of May 18, 2023. The proposal form will be available from council’s reception. And proposals can be submitted only if they have a valid business registration.
Points will be given based on:
- Land rent: 70% – (the lowest rate offered is MVR 0.60 per square foot).
- Duration: 20% – (the highest number of points will go to the long-term applicant).
- Financial Capability: (financial ability can be considered if the applicant has MVR 50,000.00 in their bank account for the last three months).
