‘Bodu Thiladhunmathi Futsal Challenge’ to be held at Ha. Ihavandhoo

Ihavandhoo CPS Sports and Recreation Club (SARC) has decided to oraganize a Futsal Tournament for island of Bodu Thiladhunmathi.

According to the organizers ‘Bodu Thiladhunmathi Futsal Challenge’ will be open for 3 atolls of Bodu Thiladhunmathi, Haa Alifu, Haa Dhaalu, and Shaviyani Atoll. SARC request those interested in participating the tournament to complete registration before June 15, 2023.

Speaking regarding the tournament, SARC Executive Director Mohamed Naaif stated that the tournament is scheduled to begin on July 20 and opportunity will be given all clubs/organization of Bodu Thiladhunmathi. He also noted that chance will be given to a total of 20 teams to take part in the tournament.

Moreover, Naaif further stated that MVR 25000 will be awarded to the champion team of the tournament and MVR 7000 to the runner-up team. Also, prizes and medals will be given to the winners.

The purpose of the tournament to promote unity and harmony among the youth of Bodu Thiladhunmathi and to give the talented Futsal players an opportunity to hone their skills and also to provide talented youngsters the experience by competing in a competitive competitions.
