70% of HDh. Hanimaadhoo Skate Park Development project completed

HDh. Hanimaadhoo Council has stated that 70% the work for Skate Park Development project has been completed.

The Skate Park developed on the southern side of Nikagas Road in front of Hanimaadhoo School. However, Vice President of HDh. Hanimaadhoo Council Firaq Mohamed has expressed concern via a Tweet over the lack of support from the Youth Ministry on ongoing project to develop a skate park in the island.

In addition, with commencement of Hanimaadhoo Road Development project, which was completed this month, number of skaters in the island has gradually increased. Therefore, the assistance of MTCC, council has made a temporary arrangement for skating in the area where the current skate park is being developed.
