The Grand Finale of the ‘KD Enterprises Dhidhdhoo Emme Aligadha Thari 1444’ Quran Competition organized by Dhidhdhoo Middle Sports Club is scheduled to be held tonight.
During the final to be held last night , out of the top 10 contestants, top 5 contestants were selected to the grand finale show of the competition. And five contestants were eliminated from last night’s show.
Five contestants who made it to the final show tonight are:
- Hussain Shahban
- Al-Hafiza Bassama Sulaiman
- Maryam Mahaa Mohamed
- Abdulla Zain bin Mohamed
- Mariyam Azaa Adil
The grand finale show will begin at 2120hrs at Thila Uthuru Maalamu of Haa Atoll Education Center.
‘Dhidhdhoo Emme Aligadha Thari 1444’ will be awarded to the winner of the competition who attains the highest combination marks from both final and grand finale. The winner of the competition will be given an Umrah trip as a prize.
According to Middle Sports Club, purposes of the competition are to inculcate love for reciting the Holy Quran in the hearts of the people of island, to revive the art of reciting the Holy Quran in according to Tajweed, encouraging to memorize the Holy Quran, to encourage the developing Qari’s and Hafiz’s. In addition to develop participants who can compete at national and international competitions and since it is the holy month of Ramadan, to increase awareness about the Quran.
This is the second edition of ‘Dhidhdhoo Emme Aligadha Thari’ organized by Middle Sports Club.
