70% of Ha. Dhidhdhoo Harbour Extension and Jetty Construction Project completed

Maldives Transport and Contracting Company (MTCC) has stated that 70% of Ha. Dhidhdhoo Harbour Extension and Jetty Construction Project has been completed.

MTCC also updated on ongoing works stating that variation quay wall block installation work has been completed and 92% of new harbor basin dredging operations has been completed and is underway.

Under the project to develop Dhidhdhoo Harbour MTCC has to dredge 78000 cubic meter new harbour basin, construction of 616 meter breakwater, 185 meter revetment, and 326 meter quay wall. In addition, installation of harbour lights, installation of street lights, and installation of 4320 square meter harbour pavement.

The value of the project is MVR 70.59 million.

MTCC has been undertaking many development projects throughout the country including building roads, airports, land reclamation, shore protection, and harbours.
