MTCC updated on Sh. Milandhoo Shore Protection Project

Maldives Transport and Contracting Company (MTCC) has stated that Sh. Milandhoo Shore Protection Project is progressing at a fast pace.

MTCC also updated on ongoing works stating that 50% of Groyne construction work are completed and revetment profiling works are now underway at the site.

Under the project to protect MTCC has to construct 594 meters of revetment and 115 meter groyne.

The project has been contracted to MTCC by National Planning, Housing and Infrastructure with a budget of MVR 36.69 million.

MTCC has been undertaking many development projects throughout the country including building roads, airports, land reclamation, shore protection, and harbours.
