Ministry of National Planning, Housing, and Infrastructure has awarded HDh. Kulhudhuffushi Jetty Extension Project to Maldives Transport and Contracting Company (MTCC) under design and build basis.
At a ceremony held at the Planning Ministry, the agreement was signed by Director General Fathimath Shana Farooq, and CEO of MTCC Adam Azim signed the agreement on behalf of the company.
Under the project to, MTCC has to dredge 1531 cubic meter of harbour basin, extension of Timber Jetties, installation of Timber platform between Jetties, renovation of quay walls, and extension of Spun pile.
The MVR 12.10 million project was awarded to the company to be completed within 250 days.

In addition, company was also awarded AA. Mathiveri and K. Himmafushi Shore Protection Project and N. Kendhikulhudhoo Harbour upgrade and Boat Beaching Area Development project.
MTCC has been undertaking many development projects throughout the country including building roads, airports, land reclamation, shore protection, and harbours.
