Kulhudhuffushi City Council has opened the opportunity to participate in the Kulhudhuffushi Quran Competition 1444.
According to the council, Schools, Quran classes and Universities located in the city are eligible to participate in the competition, which requires participants to submit their applications through the organization. And individuals will be given opportunity only to participate in Hafiz’s category.
The competition consists of three categories and each participant will be allowed to participate in any one category of the choice. The three categories of the competition are memorized category, non-memorized category, and Hafiz’s category.
The objectives of the competition are to create a competitive environment in the city in which students and people learn and develop to recite Quran according to Tajweed, inculcate love for the Holy Quran in the minds of the people of the city, and revive the art of reciting the Holy Quran. And creating students who can compete at national level and highlighting the importance of nurturing students within the framework of the Quran is also part of the objective of the competition.
Those who wish to participate in the competition are requested to complete the application form and submit their applications to the Kulhudhuffushi City Council before 1400hrs of March 8. The competition is scheduled to be held for three days from April 3-5.
