Opportunity opened to participate ‘Kelaa Council Quran Competition 1444’

Kelaa Council has opened applications to participate in the ‘Kelaa Council Quran Competition 1444’ to be held in the island during the holy month of Ramadan.

According to the Kelaa Council, only schools and registered Quran classes in the island will be allowed to participate in the competition.

The purpose of the competition include encouraging recitation of holy Quran in accordance with Tajweed, providing a competitive environment, inculcating love for the Quran among the students and the people of the island. Also, preparing students for atoll and national level competition.Moreover, competition will be conducted in both memorized and non-memorized categories.

Candidates who wish to participate in the competition are requested to complete and submit the application form to the Kelaa Council before 1300 hrs of March 9, 2023. Application forms will be available from Council’s website and reception.
