KRH shifted laboratory tests sample collection services to new OPD block

Kulhudhuffushi Regional Hospital (KRH) has shifted the collection of samples for laboratory tests to the new OPD building.

According to the hospital, the change will come into effect from February 7, 2023 onwards. Also sample collection time have been changed. With the new change samples will be collected from 0730hrs to 1990hrs.

Moreover, KRH thanked the public for their support in providing hospital services. 

New OPD services began at the new building on the south side of the hospital on January 24. The new building will provide services to General Doctors, Specialists Doctors and the Public Relations department services.

The construction of the new OPD building at KRH was completed and handed over to the hospital on January 20. The new OPD building has 21 consultation rooms, a treatment room, a procedure room, an ECG room and an echo room. The project worth MVR 20.2 million was awarded to the company on November 18, 2021.
