Ooredoo Maldives board proposed to distribute MVR 3.04 as dividend

Ooredoo Maldives board has decided to propose to distribute MVR 3.04 as last year’s dividend, per share. 

The decision was made at the company’s first board meeting held today . The figure will be passed with the vote of shareholders at the Annual General Meeting (AGM) to be held in March.

According to Ooredoo Maldives, only those registered as shareholders of the company before February 16, 2023 will be able to participate in this year’s AGM. Moreover, all persons (including legal entities) registered as shareholders of the Company before 1400hrs of February 16, 2023 are eligible to receive dividends, attend the AGM of the Company in person or by proxy, and to participate and vote in person or by proxy.

Moreover, during the board meeting, the Company’s Annual report was also approved. According to Ooredoo, the annual report will be made public before February 7, 2022. In addition, 

Notice and Agenda of the AGM, along with the relevant documents will be available from Ooredoo website before February 21, 2023.
