M. Kolhufushi Shore protection project completed

Maldives Transport and Contracting Company (MTCC) has stated that they have completed M. Kolhufushi Shore protection project.

Under the project to protect the shore area of Kolhufushi MTCC added 9683 cubic meters of sand to beach, carried construction of 202 meters of breakwater, 518 meters of revetment, dredging 5575 cubic meters for swimming area and dredging 4108 cubic meters central waste area.

The MVR 22.96 million worth was awarded to MTCC back in November 2021.

During the past four years, MTCC has completed several Harbour construction, land reclamation and Coastal Protection projects.
