Ooredoo Maldives has launched its Desk Calendar 2023.
The calendar was unveiled at a special ceremony at Jen Hotel, where the visitors opened the calendar box and were greeted with a flying butterfly. The calendar was launched under the theme ‘Grow with Ooredoo’. Grow with Ooredoo theme was selected as part of Ooredoo’s celebration of 18 years journey in the Maldives highlighting its achievements and the growth for the company and people in the coming years.
The unique calendar brings the beautiful flora of the Maldives to life through an augmented reality (AR) experience. In addition to the AR component, the calendar also features 12 seed infused paper and pots where users can use these to grow their own garden all throughout the year.
Each month of the calendar features a different flower commonly found in the Maldives, along with a short introduction. Users can scan the Snapchat code on the page to enjoy an Augmented Reality experience that brings the featured flower of the month to life. In addition to the AR feature, the calendar also comes with seeds of the featured plant for each month, making the calendar even more interactive and enjoyable for users of all ages. A Grow Guide for each of the 12 plants featured is also available on Ooredoo Maldives website. Users can scan the QR code on the calendar page to be directed to the Grow Guide.
Moreover, Ooredoo Maldives also announced Ramzee Hussain – Zuvaan Dhanduveriya as its official Grow with Ooredoo Campaign Ambassador. Zuvaan Dhanduveriya will be collaborating with Ooredoo Maldives throughout the year on various activities under the Grow with Ooredoo campaign.
According to Ooredoo Maldives Chief Commercial Officer Hussain Niyaz, the users of the calendar will be able to enjoy an AR experience as well as to grow their own garden all throughout the year and this interactive calendar will inspire the calendar users to grow their own plants and appreciate nature more.
