Kulhudhuffushi Regional Hospital (KRH) has decided to change the timings of consultations and memo-making hours once its new OPD block is operational.
KRH stated with the operations of the new OPD at the hospital, the consultation timings and memo-making timings have been revised, noting that dressings service and collection of laboratory samples will continue from 0800 hrs to 1900 hrs.
Moreover, with the change, speciality doctors consultation at the OPD will be held from 0830 hrs 1600 hrs and General consultation will continue from 0800 hrs to 2200 hrs.
The hospital had earlier announced that some of its services would be closed on Monday, January 23, to prepare for the operations of the new OPD services. As per KRH only specialty doctors OPD and laboratory services were suspended to inaugurate the new 24 room OPD block. However, emergency care, dental care and general disease doctor’s services will continue on normal routine.
The construction of the new OPD building at KRH was completed and handed over to the hospital on January 20.
