Maldives Transport and Contracting Company (MTCC) has stated that the site has been mobilized to start the Sh. Noomaraa Harbour and Channel Dredging Project.
According to MTCC, the project site was mobilized on December 15, 2022. Under the project, the company has to dredge 6347 cubic meter from the currently used harbour basin (maintenance dredging) and surveying works will be carried out.
MTCC has been undertaking many development projects throughout the country including building roads, airports, land reclamation, shore protection, and harbours.
