Ha. Atoll Council to provide financial assistance to the islands in the atoll

Haa Alifu Atoll Council has decided to provide financial assistance to the islands of the atoll to carryout social programs and various projects that will benefit the people the islands.

According to the announcement by the atoll council, proposal can be submitted from Island council’s, Women’s Development Committees (WDCs), Government institutions, registered club and organizations in the atoll.

Ha. Atoll Council has decided to release funds to the seven islands with the best proposal this year. MVR 1, 00,000 will be provided to each selected island under the project. Therefore, council requests to submit proposals before 1200hrs of November 27, 2022.

The proposal form will be available from the Atoll Council and its website.
