The Project Management workshop for civil societies in Haa Dhaalu atoll conducted by the Ministry of Youth Sports and Community Empowerment has begun in HDh. Hanimaadhoo.
The workshop, which is held at Hanimaadhoo Social Centre Hall for five days from November 3 to 5, is aimed at empowering the community socially, helping in strengthening the programmes and activities undertaken by civil society organisations and improving the administration of organisations.
Speaking regarding the workshop, Director of the Ministry of Youth Nasrina Idhrees stated that, teaching people how to prepare and submit proposals to raise funds for activities that civil society organisations want to undertake is one of the main objectives of conducting the workshop. The workshop is being conducted in collaboration with the Ministry of Youth, Airports MV and Hanimaadhoo Council.
Moreover, opportunity was given to single members from the civil society organisations that are completing the formalities. A total of 25 members of 25 organisations from Haa Dhaalu Atoll were given the opportunity in the workshop.
