Maldives Transport and Contracting Company (MTCC) has decided to conduct a training program for the users of the YANMAR and Suzuki engines in the three Northern Atolls, Haa Alifu, Haa Dhaalu, and Shaviyani atoll.
According to the announcement by several northern councils, the training program is scheduled to be held in November. The training program for vessel owners who use YANMAR and Suzuki engines, engineers, and those interested in repairing the engines in the three atolls will be held a three-day program. However, the venue of the training is not yet confirmed.
According to MTCC, the training program will contain both theory and practical and training will be conducted by a team of engineers with experience from MTCC. Therefore, the company requests those interested in participating in the training program to contact the island council of the island for clarification.
The company sells Suzuki outboard engines and YANMAR inboard engines at the MTCC Kashavaru store. MTCC is the country’s authorized distributor of the YANMAR engine and Suzuki outboard engines, as well as Castrol oil, sigma antifouling system, and scott barda brand fibering equipment.
