RVSA Women’s Handball Tournament 2022 commenced

RVSA Women’s Handball Tournament 2022, organized by Hoarafushi RV Sports Academy, has commenced.

The first match of the tournament was played between Baavees Sports Club and Team Maarandhoo. Baavees Sports won the match 14-13. Jersey number 11 of Baavees Sports selected as best player of the match.

The second match of the tournament was played between FC Frigate and Ihavandhoo IMAGU. Frigate won the match 11-4. Jersey number 11 of Frigate’s Aishath Shali was selected as best player of the match.

The Tournament was open for the Haa Alifu Atoll and the winning team will receive a cash prize of MVR 15,000. Thiladhun Online News is the media partner of the Tournament.

RV Sports Academy was registered in 2020. Currently, more than 100 students in two age groups are training in football as well as handball. The academy has been successfully operating for more than a year.
