Spokesperson of the President’s Office, Miuvaan Mohamed has stated that funds are being allocated for the tertiary hospital project in Kulhudhuffushi City.

Miuvaan made the remarks in response to a question by online news Thiladhun during the weekly press briefing held at the President’s office.

In response to the question by Thiladhun regarding the new 100-bed tertiary hospital pledged by the administration to build in Kulhudhuffushi City and on a update on new OPD building Miuvaan stated that currently paper works and BOQ are being developed, and regarding the update on OPD building have to be clarified and that the information will be provided later.

Moreover, Miuvaan noted that cardiac diagnostic service will now be available from Kulhudhuffushi and efforts are underway to provide and develop other services as well.
