New Waste Management Centre developed at Ha. Kelaa has been officially opened.
With the new Waste Management Centre, Kelaa Council has banned the use previously used Waste Management Centre for any type of waste disposal. Moreover, council stated that it is prohibited to dispose any type of waste to places other than the new Waste Management Centre.
Furthermore, council also stated that it is prohibited to dispose of waste in groups such as glass, plastic, vegetables, and tree trunks, and to dispose of waste without segregating it. And action will be taken against those who fail to comply with the established policies.
The council further stated that the Waste Management Centre will be open from 0830hrs to 1200hrs and from 1400hrs to 1630hrs every day except Fridays.
