Agreement has been signed between Kulhudhuffushi Regional Hospital (KRH) and Neomed Maldives Private Limited to provide Trauma Implants to KRH in order to start Orthopedic Surgeries.

The agreement was signed at a ceremony held to launch the Strategic Action Plan of KRH. Chief Executive Officer of KRH Ahmed Dawood signed the agreement on behalf of the company while Managing Director of Neomed Maldives Hussain Rasheed signed the agreement on behalf of the company. Under the agreement Trauma Implants worth MVR 4.9 million will be provided.

Moreover, the agreement will make it easier to find the necessary resources to conduct medical operations at the hospital. While equipment for such operations is being procured in collaboration with IGMH Hospital, eight surgeries have been conducted by procuring three times since October 2020. More than 60 cases of K wire fixation were made with the drill received in 2021.

In addition, more than 150 operations have been conducted at KRH over the past two years by Orthopedics.
