MNDF conducted a fire awareness programme in HDh. Nolhivaranfaru

Maldives National Defense Force (MNDF) has conducted a fire awareness programme in Haa Dhaalu Nolhivaranfaru.

MNDF stated that the programme was conducted by the Northern Area Command of MNDF with the assistance from Nolhivaranfaru Womens Development Committee (WDC). The programme, held from September 1-3, 2022, was attended by 62 students Nolhivaranfaru School and 70 women from the Island.

During the programme participants were taught how to use fire extinguishers and fire blankets, also the programme also outlines the best ways to deal with common fire incidents. The participants of the programme were briefed by MNDF’s northern area command fire component.

MNDF is conducting several such awareness programmes.
