The delegation of Maldivian journalists and Maldives Media Council (MMC) held a meeting with the Press Council of India (PCI).
The meeting held at the Conference Room of PCI was attended by Vice President of MMC Hussain Sageef, Member Mohamed Shaafiu, Muizzu Ibrahim and from PCI retired Justice of Supreme Court of India Ranjana Prakash Desai, member Shri G. Sudhakar Nair, Shri Nunssglemba and senior officials of council. Also, course director of Indian Mass Communication Dr. Sangita Pravendra attended the meeting.
During the session, professional journalists from India shared their experience and obstacles they encountered as journalists. Moreover, discussions were held to work MMC and PCI collaboratively in the future.
According to MMC, this is the part of Field trip training conducted by Amity University in collaboration with Media Council and the Indian Government to train Maldivian journalists.
