Opportunity has been opened to participate in the Handball Coaches training programme to be conducted in Ha. Dhidhdhoo.
The programme will be conducted in Dhidhdhoo for a period of 10 days in collaboration with Dhidhdhoo Council and Handball Maldives. Therefore, council requests interested individuals to note their names before 1400hrs of August 28, 2022, by visiting the council or by contacting 6500019.
Moreover, according to the Dhidhdhoo Council President Abdulla Rasheed Several Handball tournaments are currently being held in Dhidhdhoo and that it is important to train coaches to further develop the sport in the island.
The programme is scheduled to begin in September, with 30 participants. However, Abdulla Rasheed noted that if 30 participants from Dhidhdhoo do not participate, opportunities will be opened for nearby islands as well.
