Kulhudhuffushi City Women’s Development Committee (WDC) has opened the opportunity for those who wish to take part in the “Kasab” weaving course to be held in the city.
Kasab weaving is a traditional craft of weaving Maldivian Dress. According to the announcement by Kulhudhuffushi City Council, the 15 day basic to advanced course will be conducted for women residing in Kulhudhuffushi City.
The course, which is scheduled to begin on August 16, will be open to women between the ages of 16 and 40 living in the city. Moreover, a total of 10 participants will be given the opportunity to participate in the course. Therefore, a draw will be taken to select the 10 participants from all applicants. Draw will be held at Kulhudhuffushi City Council at 1000hrs on August 13, 2022.
Kulhudhuffushi City Council has requested those who wish to clarify further information regarding the course to contact 9958819.
