Opportunity has been opened to participate in a Handball training programme to be held in Ha. Utheemu.
The Handball training programme is organized collaboratively by Utheemu Council, Women’s Development Committee (WDC), and Handball Association of Maldives.
According to the Utheemu Council, both genders of the island will be able to participate in the Handball training programme. Moreover, the training programme is scheduled to be held from August 11-20, 2022, for a ten days period.
Therefore, the council requests interested individuals to note their names by calling the council’s number 7920038 or 6500038 before 1400hrs of August 4, 2022.
In addition, Utheemu Council and WDC have previously conducted a handball coaching camp for women in the island. And they have conducted volleyball training and volleyball competitions also have been conducted in the Island.
