Hurricane has won the “Dominators Futsal Cup 2022” organized by Hirimaradhoo Club Dominators.
The final match of the tournament between Hurricane and Yeti was played at the Hirimaradhoo Futsal Stadium yesterday evening. Hurricane won the final match 9-2, and Ibrahim Ashfaq was selected as the best player of the final match.
At the end of the final match, medals and trophies were presented to the winners of the tournament at the closing ceremony.
Moreover, Ibrahim Ashfaq was selected as the best player of the tournament, while he was also the top scorer of the tournament. Ashfaq scored a total of 12 goals. Mohamed Ashraf was selected as the fairplay player of the tournament, while Thoha Waheed was named the best coach of the tournament. Both are from team Hurricane.
Club Dominators stated that the purpose of the competition include creating talented futsal players in the island, improving the well-being of the island’s youth, and promoting the spirit of sports among the youth.
In addition, at the closing ceremony of the tournament held after the final match, Club Dominators announced that the competition will be held in 2023 as well.
