Brightstar has won the Nellaidhoo Council Handball Tournament 2022, organized by HDh. Nellaidhoo Council.
The final match of the tournament was played on July 19, 2022. Brightstar won the match with a 4-3 win against Youngster. Nazmeena Ahmed was selected as the player of the final match.
At the end of the final match, medals and trophies were presented to the winners of the tournament. Nazmeena Ahmed of Bright Star was selected as the top scorer of the tournament and one of the best players of the tournament. She was also selected as the supporters best players of the tournament.
Moreover, Hawwa Rooya of Youngster’s was selected as the most promising player of the tournament. Brightstar coach Aishath Salma was named the best coach. Falcon Wings was selected for the fair play team. Youngstar was selected as the best supporters team.
In addition, The winning team was awarded a cash prize of MVR 10,000 while the runner-up team received a cash prize of MVR 5,000.
