Young Star won Finey Council’s Futsal Tournament 2022

Young Star has won the Finey Council Futsal Tournament 2022 organized by HDh. Finey Council in collaboration with Y Sports and recreation.

The final match of the tournament was played at the Finey Futsal Ground on Saturday night, July 16, 2022. Young Star won the match 5-1, against VSRC.

Moreover, trophies and medals were awarded to the winners of the tournament. Hussain Siraj, Azwan Thoha, Shameel Rasheed and Ali Shahil from Young Star and Asif Saleem of VSRC were selected for the top five players of the tournament. Furthermore, Hussain Siraj of Young Star was selected as the best player of the tournament.

Finey Council stated that the purpose of the competitions are to strengthen the relations between the youth of the island, promote unity among the athletes, and inculcate the spirit of sportsmanship.
